Providence Bus Graphics

These bus graphics were designed for Providence High School as a recruiting tool for grade school kids. When the buses were purchased, they just had dull, boring stripes on them and the school’s Board just wanted to add some vinyl lettering with their name. But that just wouldn’t do.

My aim was to make something that would look really exciting to pre-teens so that they would consider attending Providence or think that Providence is pretty cool if their parents were sending them there. The graphics also needed to be really cool so that the students on Providence’s teams could step out of the bus when arriving at events and feel cooler and more bad-ass than their competition. I know I would have felt really awesome if I’d shown up to one of my rowing team’s regattas in this bus.
